  1. Security is Antibalas' fourth album. It was co-produced by the band with John McEntire from Tortoise (he also mixed the set). While opening horn lines let the listener know immediately that this is Antibalas, virtually everything else is different.9/

  2. A ricochet of crossed-horn riffs open Antibalas's third album, Security, and what's immediately marvelous is the production, the lack of polish and purity in the tones. There's a ratty edge on Jordan McLean and Eric Biondo's trumpets, and Aaron Johnson's trombone only fattens the frays/5(19).

  5. Security CD music This EP is the follow up CD to my previous album "Play Genesis and Other Original Stuff". It includes the instrumental "Second Home by the Sea" (which I consider one of the best pieces of the latter part of Genesis long career as a band), as well as an extended version of "Broken Promises" (the bonus track on the previous album), and my first adventure in "fusion" titled.

  7. Antibalas (Ab) is a world music/Afro-beat band from Brooklyn, NYC world music band. Per Wiki, Ab has 12 members, which play many instruments including horns, guitars, keys, & drums. This is Ab’s 4th studio album, & the 1st that I’ve reviewed. BEATS Ab provides a cohesive Afro-beat/funk sound.
